As NaNoWritMo begins I am reminded of the importance of keeping the pen moving. Don't stop and think, just write. In memoir writing that is what opens the subsconscious and brings forth those hidden memories. Go with details. If you get off track keep going with the new thought. There's a reason your mind is following that train of thought.
