This is exciting to me. When my husband looked kind of blank about my plans and then asked me why this was a big deal I didn't really have an answer for him. On further thought I've decided it is an affirmation. I decided to do a blog and I've stuck with it. I've had a certain amount of success in positive comments and I enjoy it. The blog has opened up new possibilities and visions for me. I look at the world a little differently.
As promised I am having a giveaway. Everybody who leaves a comment to this post before Tuesday, September 21will be entered into a drawing. I will put all the names into a hat and draw one lucky winner.
So, what is the prize, you ask?
A large goodie bag full of vintage and new papers, fabrics, sequin waste, dried flower petals, fibers, buttons, beads, trims, and my Lillian Russell tag, "She Dreamed."

Congratulations on your 100th post and for keeping up your blog...I'm scared to even attempt one as I'm not a tech geek. I don't have a scanner to upload photos and don't really know how to post the photos to share my art work. So good for you for sticking with it.

ReplyDeleteI think beyond the notion of an affirmation, you are participating inherently in creating community, and community of your choosing and design. I know for me, as I more fully grow into myself this is important. Glad to have found your blog!
As a fellow blogger I understand just how you feel. Maintaining a blog takes some determination and the words don't always flow. Or the words do flow but there's nothing to show! What surprises me is how some people, folks I've never met, become so important to me. I care about what they say, I care about their accomplishments and I worry about them when life throws them curves.

I want to start a blog; I even have a blog page set up (if that's the correct wording) but I've never posted because I don't know how?
