Collecting Love

Everywhere I go I collect hearts. This was taken at a rest stop on my way up here.
These are benches at the Young Living garden. They looked so comfortable but I didn't take time to relax.
The best hearts have been my grandsons. I was giving them baths last night and hugging them in big fluffy towels and my thoughts turned to how in the world can anybody explain this much love. As frustrating as they get sometimes I just can't get enough of them. Alex gives me a hug or Brendan looks over with his smile...I just melt.

The good news. Jessica's surgery went just fine and I'm leaving here in a few minutes to go pick her up. Can you believe that? One night in the hospital. Matt has the boys and is taking Alex to his therapy so we are managing all the comings and goings well. Except I went to open the door about 10:00 last night to let the dog out and Matt had just stuck his key in the lock. He looked started but it scared me half to death.

Well, I'll be back as soon as possible. Thank you all for traveling along with me. I'm reading your comments and enjoy that you are all along for the ride.

Have a great day.

  1. Rita,

I'm so glad the surgery went well. I pray the recovery goes just as well. It's great that you get to spend time with your grandsons.

And yes, they do rush you out of the hospital with great speed these days. When I had a similar surgery, I was only in one night. Early the next morning, a nurse said, "You can leave at any time."

"Do you mind if I wait for my ride?" I asked.

I'm sure Jessica was glad her ride was on the way and she could go home.
